Saiyonara(Goodbye)

"Communications", a very common action every one of us are doing everyday in our daily life, either direct or indirect. In order to express yourself to others who don’t know too much about you, you need to communicate to them to express yourself. This blog assignment simply tells something about us, our personality, the way we are thinking and the way we handle things as things approached. For most people, they don't like to share things they knew and don't want others to know what they are thinking. But in my personal point of view, we are in a business school and we are going to be a business man one day in the future. We need to express ourselves thought out the world, a place which everyone are struggling very hard to come out with any decisions in life in order to survive in the business filed. Sharing is a very important role in our life.

Honestly, there are about 80 students in the class; it's very hard to meet others online since you don't know their names and how they look. I haven't met any of the classmates here. But I do find out something interesting via my classmate's blog. Everyone has their own way to expressing themselves to other thought their writing, some of them are very intelligence, and they are very active and try to make everything fun as they can. Some of them are trying to show how they are handling things step by step and choose their decision as carefully as they can. The others are just wanted to do things as simple as possible. We can see a lot of personality style in our classroom. One comment to the professor’s blog, his blog is very awesome, everything are very neat and bring outside information about management. But some of them are so long; it took me more than 30mins to finish reading.

By the way, I might continue to post something interesting things about school and work in my blog. But one thing different is that, I can write whatever I want to write in the blog instead of follow a specific pattern for my blog. Hopefully you guys can sometimes pass by and leave a turtle for my blog. Thanks my friends.

Rock 'n' Roll (Poem)

As the leader as the whole,
intellectual and conceptual skills are what you hold.

As the leader as the team,
your personal emotions had to be in control.

As the leader as the Goal,
Vision coupled with action is the way to go.

There are a lot of processes have to show,
and all the roles have to hold,
let's Rock 'n' Roll and work as a whole.
never think and say "I",
instead think and say "we",
then everything had perpared and ready to gol

I am "D"

DISC....What a great Exercise. This is one of the great lesson I had in my life. This is the an Exercise that reflect on the leadership and management diagnostic that we personally have. That's very interesting exercise, after I finished with the 28 questions from the list, the result turns out that I am a "D" type leadership style. It's very interesting that I found out that I am a "D" type person. Personally the I am very agree with the result from this test. I like to be a "D" person and I don't want to be another type. As the Professor said, A "D" always looking for something ahead and take actions as things come approch. That's right and that's what I am doing most of the time. I think this test is very accurate, at less it can point something out about ourselve which are correct. Also, this test could be very helpful to determine the management type to better understand where they are from because as I said about this test, it's accurate and can tell something about us are correct. So I am very aggree with the result I got from the test.

Vision

"Vision without action is just a dream.
Action without vision merely wastes time.
Vision coupled with action can make things happen."

This is the first time I hear this quote in the class. However, this is not the first time I recognize the meaning of this quote. In our dairy life, things are not always come as the way we expected to happen. There are always something we need to handle in order to success in life. We all have our dreams, dreams counld be big and small; however, no matter what type of dreams are, the thing that is in common is we need to struggle hard in order to acheive it. Vision is the same thing too. We all have our visions in our mind that we want to acheive in life. But without action, every vision in our mind become dreams. So we have to combine vision with action to make things happen. In my personal life, there are a lot of visions in my mind I want to acheive. But in order to acheive those visions, I need to give up something in order to gain something that I want. That's what I learn in the business world "Opportunity Cost". Their are a lot of goal holding in my mind I would like to acheive in my late life. Now I am beriefly talk about three of them. The very big goal holding in my mind is after I gradurate from college, I will struggle for about 7 years of working and then I will start my own business because I want to be a boss. Second goal I would like to acheive is I want to have my dream car, a car that I am proud of. The third goal is I want to have my own family, a family that support me and always on my side. "Vision coupled with action can make things happen." I am doing it now.

We want to see the "Light"

A Black Black Cloud is blocking our way to see the light from the clear sky, we are the wind to make it pass by to reach our bright. As one of the members of our team, our goal is to pass a final decision with everyone has to agree with this decision. Not 10%,50%,90%,99.99%, that's it- 100% AGREE. It's extremely hard to come up with a decision that 100% of the members have to agree with one decision. But we try, "we are not 100% sure anything we will do is going to be success, but we are not going to be success if we are not doing anything." Personally, the way I handle conflict is very simple. I used the Avoidance and the Accommodation methods to handle my decision. First of all, we all bring up a lot different decisions, then we try to avoid those decisons that don't work or not the best solution to reach our decision. Finally, I try to pick one of the best decision from those decisions which we came up with which can benefit us as a whole. It's seems not working at the beginning but as a team, we over come all the struggles and reach our final decision and the "LAW" had been passed by our judge.

PooR Egg

"Egg", what is the first impression comes from your mind about this object?Maybe some of you have different answers from mine, but I would say it is the most vulnerable and easy break object in the world. As Spokesmens of our egg , our job is to make sure the egg drop from the top mountain down to the hill without breaking. We know that is a impossible mission to acheive, but as a team, there is no single word like "impossible" in our dictionary, the only opinion we have in our mind is to make "impossible" to become "possible". First of all, we had already define our goals and objectives to prevent the egg of brearking by using a very limited material- eight straw and the two inches long tapes. We had discuss a lot of the different techniques together and try to test that by using a paper sample model we had created. As the only guy in the team, my job is to do most of the physical stuffs and try to satisify the needs of the gals. From the first 25 minutes of time, we had a little discussion of the process of whole plan. My plan is to use the scientific way to apply to our planning process(by consider the mass,pressure and Gravity), but this is too complicated. So we chose a very formal planning process by cutting the straw into shorter pieces and try to tape the egg all over with the requirement of 50% uncover surface. Everything is under our control, and it is done very nicely in our concerned. The next step is to drop it from the mountain high to the ground. A gal from our group(probably the shortest) went out and hold the egg in her hand and drop it to the ground. I can't see how it looks after it falled on the ground, but what i do hear is "pup" after the egg falled on the ground. I felt sorry for the egg, I knew our mission was failed. However, what I got out from this mission is more than what I was concerned. We had learned a lesson from life.

Difficulty in life

Everybody have their own problems to face in their daily life include myself. The problem I am facing everyday is the most common problem like most of the people face, which is "Family Relationship". Since the day I can opened my mouth and say"mama, papa" until now, I always have a lot of conflicts with my parents most of the time. Every time I do something unique, they are always there to stop me and yell at me. The most common thing I am sure most of the college students have is having dinner outside. I think this is a very common thing, but my parent always yell at me "Don't go out at night and it's wasting money." The other thing is every time I buy something home like:" snakes, sodas and other kind of stuffs. They are always come to my room and start saying this and that. By the way, I love my parents very much. I try to obey them as much as I can. I try my best to help them to handle houseworks and I try very hard to be a good son as they want me to be. However, sometimes stuffs don't come as the way you think about. Things are always changing around. There is nothing happens today, but how about tomorrow? We never know what's going to happen next in our life. Obey or having my own Privacy? Family or Friends?
